Working principle
The rotary feeder is mainly composed of a housing, impeller, end cover, sealing structure, etc. The impeller rotates inside the housing driven by the motor, and the material falls from the upper silo into the space between the blades of the impeller. With the rotation of the impeller, the material is carried to the lower outlet and then enters the conveying pipeline under the action of gravity and airflow. It achieves quantitative and uniform supply of materials by controlling the speed of the impeller.
Performance characteristics
It has good airtightness and can effectively prevent gas leakage in pneumatic conveying systems, ensuring stable system pressure; The feeding is uniform and continuous, and the feeding amount can be adjusted according to actual needs; Compact structure, small footprint, easy to install and maintain. But for some materials with high viscosity or uneven particle size, blockage may occur.
Applicable scenarios
commonly used in the feeding process of pneumatic conveying systems, suitable for quantitative feeding of powdery, granular, and small block materials, such as flour, sugar powder, resin particles, molding sand, and other materials.
